Two prenatal support visits
Birth is an intimate and personal experience, so it is important we are comfortable with each other going into this process together. We should plan to meet twice before your labor at a place of your choosing. At these meetings, we will really get to know each other on a personal level. I will answer any questions you may have, as well as begin educating you on the birth process. We can meet at your house to chat in a comfortable and relaxed setting, or meet for lunch someplace casual and convenient for you. Either way, these meetings should be informative, relaxed, fun, and get you excited about birth. That's right - EXCITED ABOUT BIRTH!

Continuous labor and birth support
Once you are 37 weeks pregnant, I am on call and available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you are ready, I will join you at your birth space and begin supporting you in any way you need. If you desire, I will also snap a few pictures for you during your birth.
Also, please know that I only take on a certain number of clients at any one time to ensure I give you the full care and attention you deserve when you need my support.

Emotional support
Just because your baby is born doesn't mean my support stops! After your birth, I like to meet with you once more at your home, or another place of your choosing. At this visit, we will discuss how you are doing and feeling postpartum, and of course, how your new baby is doing. If you are choosing to breastfeed, I will also answer any questions you have or offer any guidance you may need in that area, as well as answering newborn care questions. Additionally, I am still available to you via text, call, or email in the first 6 weeks after your birth!
